It was a breezy, beautiful day in Metcalfe Park. Everyone agreed that the wind was much preferred to the hot 100+ degree weather that Kingman had been experiencing earlier in the week. The park came alive with groups of friends clustered under the trees waiting for Satin Steel to take the stage. The five members of Satin Steel played a wonderful mix of classic rock and country. The crowd tapped their feet, swayed back in forth in their chairs and a few brave souls danced to the tunes. The final song ended not with silence, but with the lingering hum of voices, laughter, and the wind — a reminder that music, like the breeze, can wrap around you and stay long after the last note fades.

The raffle was a big hit with many tickets purchased in the hope of being the winner of the beautiful turquoise necklace. Jane Wrzalinski was the lucky winner and she is pictured wearing her prize.
